We sincerely thank you for your tremendous understanding and cooperation with the activities of the Muroto UNESCO Global Geopark throughout the past year. With the support of our local community, related organizations, educational institutions, and the many visitors who came to Muroto, this year has been an accumulation of various initiatives. The land and sea of Muroto, along with the history and culture rooted there, are irreplaceable treasures nurtured over a long period of time.

Geopark activities are also an endeavor to protect, learn, and pass on these treasures to future generations.

This year, we will continue to value the progress we have made thus far while striving to share Muroto’s unique charm with more people through educational and outreach activities, information sharing, and creating opportunities for exchange. We will continue to accumulate our efforts to ensure that Muroto remains a geopark that is a source of pride for its residents and a place of learning and inspiration for visitors.
