07/21 (Sunday), at the Muroto Global Geopark Center, “Conclusive Ceremony between Muroto City and Kochi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden’s Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement” was held. This agreement aims the prevention of non-native species and raising awareness among the Muroto City populace.
In the morning that day, Muroto Highschool students and volunteers gathered at Muroto Misaki in order to exterminate masses of prickly pear cactus, an invasive species in Muroto.
