Dr. Magari serves as Honorary Police Chief for a day

On September 22, 2025, Dr. Magari, the mascot character of Muroto Geopark, was appointed as a one-day police chief by the Muroto Police Station for the autumn traffic safety campaign.
The commissioning ceremony was held in front of the Muroto City Hall in the morning, where Dr. Magari was presented with a letter of appointment and a sash designating him as the one-day police chief.
Afterwards, they moved to the Muroto Global Geopark Center and conducted safety awareness appeals to drivers on the road and distributed safety campaign promotional items.

“Road safety is everyone’s wish. Let us strive to drive with consideration and patience. Aim to raise traffic safety awareness among both drivers and pedestrians and raise traffic safety awareness in hopes of a society free from traffic accidents.
