May 9th, The Power of Youth Springs to Action!
In early May, the executive committee of the Geopark International Youth Forum shared their ideas and thoughts on their project with university students, faculty members, and geopark staff. They discussed what kind of cooperation they would like to ask from university students and adults in the future.
During the meeting, the high school students gave a presentation about the content of the project they had devised and what they aimed to convey. Their strong drive and sense of responsibility can be felt from their stance.
At the scene of exchanging opinions, ideas flew back and forth beyond different positions and ages. Specialists and instructors were all listening intently.
The high school students talk about their thoughts and expectations for their project standing in front of their presentation slides. Although nervous, certain confidence can be sensed from within.
