We went to Check Out the Venue at the National MUROTO Youth Outdoor Learning Center (Youth Center)!

High school students serving as the executive committee of the Geopark International Youth Forum 2025 in Muroto conducted a preliminary inspection at the National MUROTO Youth Outdoor Learning Center (Youth Center) that will be both the venue and lodging for the event.

The goal is to concretely visualize how domestic and foreign visiting participants will use the facilities and the flow of their activities.

By being on-site, there was a lot they noticed such as the reception area, placement of directional signage, movement routes, and venue layout. They actively exchanged opinions like, “We might need a map here,” or “This route seems likely to get crowded.”.

The high school students’ states, “I finally have a better grasp on the full picture.” “I am more focused because there were more things to do to than I had originally imagined.”.

They continue their preparation for the main event with an even more proactive attitude.

They will continue to improve the forum making process by continuing on-site checks and coordination with other parties!
